The nominations span multidisciplinary rehabilitation, psychology, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, frontline care, technology, workforce development and innovative neurorehabilitation.

Celebrating excellence in Neurological and Complex Care

Presented by Care Talk magazine, the Neurological & Complex Care Awards celebrate excellence and outstanding achievement across the neurological and complex care sector.

The awards recognise individuals, teams and organisations supporting people living with neurological conditions and complex care needs, including those at different stages of the neurorehabilitation pathway.

For Askham Rehab, being recognised across 11 categories reflects both the individual expertise within the team and the collaborative approach that supports rehabilitation across the service.

Together, the nominations recognise the different disciplines and services involved in delivering specialist rehabilitation, as well as Askham Rehab’s continued investment in its people, clinical practice and rehabilitation programmes.

Multidisciplinary rehabilitation, innovation and technology

Neurological rehabilitation often involves professionals from several disciplines working together around an individual’s needs and goals. At Askham Rehab, this multidisciplinary approach brings together clinical, therapy and care expertise to support personalised rehabilitation.

Recognition for Best Multidisciplinary Team sits alongside individual nominations across psychology, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, physiotherapy, advanced practice and frontline care.

Askham Rehab has also been shortlisted for Best Use of Technology in Care, reflecting the role rehabilitation technology can play alongside clinical expertise and hands-on therapy.

The 12-Week Intensive Rehabilitation Programme has received recognition in the Innovative Neuro Rehabilitation Program category, while Askham Rehab’s Neuro Skills Days have been shortlisted for Exceptional Training and Development Program.

The nominations come as Askham Rehab continues to develop its specialist provision, including neurological and amputee rehabilitation, technology-assisted therapy and opportunities to support people across different stages of their rehabilitation journey.
